Problem 1:
If your Browser or Media Player says, "the file format is invalid" or the video will not download or play at all:

Try right-clicking on the file link from the "demo reel" web page and selecting "Save Target As" or "Save Link As" then save the selected file to your desktop. From your desktop, double click and try to view the .mpg or .mov file from there.

If your file still will not play, you need to download a player. If you are trying to play the .mov files you will need to download Apple's (latest) Quicktime Player by clicking here:Quicktime. If you are trying to play the .mpg files, you will need to download Windows (latest) Media Player by clicking here:Windows Media Player.

Problem 2:
Video area is green or is flashing green / pink bands / blocks:

A setting in Windows Media Player needs to be changed. Perform these steps in Windows Media Player:
  1. Click the View menu, and then click Options.
  2. On the Playback tab, move the Hardware acceleration slider to the left one notch and connect to the media content again.
  • Full acceleration is the fastest setting and recommended for most file types. If the file you’re playing is still having problems after moving the slider one notch to the left, continue to move the slider left until you find the highest setting at which you do not have problems.
